National Compliance Congress 2022
Suriname Natural Stone Co, sponsored the National Compliance Congress 2022 (NCC 2022) with the team ‘Compliance Readiness’. This congress was organized for the second time by TABTO Group, a compliance organization in Suriname. The goal of the congress was to provide insight into likely focus areas for the Public and Private sector to leverage its efforts to implement more effective prevention, detection, monitoring and control measures to combat money laundering, terrorist financing, financing of weapons of mass destruction (proliferation) and corruption.

Appreciation day for Children and Elderly
On January 12, 2022, a part of the Suriname Natural Stone team went to Coronie (the district in Suriname with the smallest population) to donate goods to an institute for and elderly and children called Huize Lunor.

Donations Front-line workers medical sector COVID-19 pandemic
Nurses working in Covid-19 care and Intensive Care units received appreciation donations from Suriname Natural Stone Co NV, and partnering companies Moneyline and Speedwire Money Transfer NV. Between SRD 500 and SRD 750 was distributed per individual nurse. More than SRD450,000 has been distributed among 753 nurses. Although the companies already donate a lot to fight the impact of the pandemic, this was a personal 'thank you' to these front-line workers in the medical sector.
